The county worker can accept the Work Study approval letter and a verbal confirmation that you anticipate working as proof without asking for any further documentation. If you do not confidently state that you anticipate working, then they may request additional documentation to verify that you anticipate using your work study benefits.
How to get my Work Study Certificate?
Students can use MyAward to view the Work Study.
Before entering MyAwards, students are required to log in to the Central Authentication Service (CAS). Once logged in to CAS, students will be directed to the MyAwards login page and will need to select the Academic Year, enter their UC Davis Student ID, and date of birth.
After log in, student can find the Work Study Certificate under important notice on the right side. Select Download to see the Work Study Certificate. Make sure use the Print and Save function instead of directly download from the website. The original document is password protected, and will not be accepted by the county.
