What is the Student Exemption Form?

This is for the county to check if you are enrolled in any additional student program. College students who meet both the regular eligibility criteria (like income), and at least one of the criteria in additional student requirement may be eligible for CalFresh.

Which box should I check?

If you participate in any Student Programs, Undergraduate Programs, Master Programs or PhD Programs listed under UC Davis's Student Exemption page, please check this item

• Enrolled in a Local Program that Increases Employability (LPIE). Many majors and programs qualify. See the full List of Approved LPIEs (www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/calfresh-resource-center/policy).
