Tom is a UC Davis graduate, who received his Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics, with a minor in Education. During his education classes, he cultivated deep interest in issues in higher education, which would eventually generate his passion for Basic Needs. 

Tom started at Aggie Compass as a Peer Navigator, where he worked as a Student Intake Coordinator and Food Truck worker. As a pro-staff member, Tom coordinates outreach efforts with both campus and non-campus partners to promote basic needs awareness, organizes cooking and nutrition education workshops for students and staff, and analyzes quarterly and annual data to promote access and expansion to basic needs for students.

In his free time, Tom enjoys cooking, and spending time with his two cats, Gil and Lady.
