Bio
Jenifer (Jeni) Alvarado is the Calfresh Outreach Coordinator at Aggie Compass. Jeni has worked in various areas in higher education to support student success. Jeni has worked with a variety of different student populations such as those who identify as foster/homeless, undocumented/mix-status, first generation, and other identities to navigate their college journey. Jeni received her Bachelor’s of Arts at the University of California, Merced in Sociology and will be receiving a Master’s of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education from the California State University, Sacramento Spring of 2024. Jeni’s own experiences navigating her educational journey and seeking services has led her to a passion to work with students. Jeni enjoys going on walks, watching movies, and listening to music in her free time.
