Gian Marlo Lorenzo (he/him) is a proud first-generation Filipino American and UC Davis alumnus with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Born in New Zealand, Gian briefly lived in British Columbia, Canada before moving to the United States in 2006. He became a U.S. citizen in 2016, a deeply meaningful milestone that honored his family’s sacrifices and strengthened his resolve to give back to the communities that shaped his path.

He currently serves as the Basic Needs Administrative Coordinator, where he supports efforts to ensure students have access to essential resources. With a deep passion for helping others, Gian is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Outside of work, Gian enjoys staying active by lifting weights at the gym and attending concerts and music festivals. He also finds fulfillment in community service as a member of the Sacramento Maharlika Lions, a service-based organization focused on uplifting and supporting local communities.
